Deadra
Woods Stokes concentrates in
the areas of real estate, estate planning, business formation
and bankruptcy. Attorney Stokes
also serves as the Hearing Officer for the Building Code
Division for the Village of Robbins, Illinois since 2002.
Prior to founding Holt & Woods, Ltd. in 1998 which transformed
in 2002 into Holt, Woods & Evans, Ltd., and then to Woods &
Evans, L.L.C. in 2005, Attorney Stokes worked as an Industrial
Hygienist with the US Department of Labor/Occupational Safety &
Health and as an Environmental Land Specialist with Chicago
Bridge & Iron Company and Velsicol Chemical Corporation |

Attorney Stokes is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
Incorporated, the Chicago South Suburban Chapter of Jack and
Jill, a licensed real estate continuing education instructor in
the State of Illinois and registered public accountant
continuing professional education sponsor. She is also a member
of the South Suburban Bar Association.
Attorney Stokes is the former co-host of the talk radio show
“Attorneys That Care” that aired on 1160 AM WYLL. She currently
serves on the National Advisory Council for Russell Simmon’s Hip
Hop Summit Action Network “Get Your House Right” initiative.
She appears on “Dollars
and Sense” on WVON 1690 AM as a legal expert providing legal
consultation regarding real estate, estate planning, business
formation and bankruptcy.
